I've attached a screenshot of this Event Log entry.Īny help would be greatly appreciated as these were expensive cards and I would like them to work correctly. I have already updated the drivers on both computers and there has been no change and my Windows 10 install is completely up to date. This has been an issue for over a year so it seems agnostic of the version of Windows that I'm running.Īlso, when the driver crashes it logs Event 5002 in the System Event Log. I have looked around and found no one who has reported issues with 2 of them side by side. While this normally only happens when my computers are idle for a while, it does rarely happen when I'm in the middle of gaming, which is incredibly frustrating. Once this happens, my computer sees no wireless networks and won't again until I reboot the computer or disable and then re-enable the device in Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections. However, when both computers are turned on, sometimes the driver for the wireless card just suddenly dies on one of them (normally my gaming PC first) and then my media server does the same thing shortly after. This adaptor is a PCIe card and both are installed and work normally most of the time. I know I should hard wire them but the way my house is laid out and the location of my computers makes it a project I'm not really willing to tackle at the moment. They are literally almost touching each other they are that close. One is my main gaming computer, and the other is my media server. The only way to fix it is to either disable and enable the device in device manager, or restart the computer.

I have 2 ASUS PCE-AC88 AC3100 ( Amazon | ASUS) installed side by side, in separate cases. So I have had this issue for a while but I'm finally trying to reach out about it because it's been driving me nuts.
